    Resolve common issues with login, dashboard, live classes, and more

    This article helps you resolve common technical issues on the Hacking HR platform, including login problems, dashboard access, live class issues, video playback, and transcripts.

    Before contacting support, review the sections below—most issues can be fixed in a few minutes.

    If something isn't working as expected, start here:

    • Refresh your browser
    • Log out and log back in
    • Make sure you're using a modern browser:
    • Chrome (recommended)
    • Firefox
    • Safari
    • Disable browser extensions that may block pop-ups or videos
    • Try opening the platform in an incognito/private window

    If the issue persists, continue below.

    I can't log in
    • Confirm you're using the same email address you registered with
    • Use the Reset Password link if needed
    • Check spam or promotions folders for reset emails
    I logged in but don't see my program or event
    • Refresh the page
    • Make sure you're logged into the correct account
    • Confirm your registration or purchase is complete
    • Allow time for new enrollments to sync
    The dashboard isn't loading or looks broken
    • Refresh your browser
    • Clear your browser cache
    • Try a different browser
    • Avoid using outdated operating systems or browsers
    Buttons or links aren't working
    • Refresh the page
    • Disable ad blockers or script blockers
    • Try a different device if available
    I don't see the LIVE CLASS button

    This is expected behavior in many cases.

    The LIVE CLASS button:

    • Appears 5–10 minutes before the scheduled session
    • Only appears on the day of the class
    • Disappears once the session ends

    If you're early, wait and refresh closer to the start time.

    I'm stuck in the Zoom waiting room
    • Facilitators admit participants only during the first few minutes
    • Joining late may result in waiting room delays
    • Join on time to avoid this issue
    I can't hear or see anything
    • Check your Zoom audio and video settings
    • Confirm the correct microphone and speakers are selected
    • Leave and rejoin the session if needed
    A recording won't play
    • Refresh your browser
    • Try a different browser
    • Disable VPNs or ad blockers
    • Check your internet connection
    I don't see a recording yet
    • Recordings are usually available within 24 hours
    • Look under Videos & Resources
    • Not all sessions or event segments are recorded
    I can't find the transcript
    • Open the video player
    • Look for the Transcript option inside the player
    • Scroll below the video for download options
    Transcript download isn't working
    • Try a different browser
    • Make sure pop-ups are enabled
    • Select the English auto-generated transcript option
    My activity is marked as missing
    • Activities must be marked Completed before the deadline
    • Deadlines follow Pacific Time (PT)
    • Missed activities cannot be reopened
    I completed something but forgot to mark it

    Unfortunately, the system cannot reopen missed activities. Always toggle items to Completed before the deadline.

    For best performance:

    • Use a desktop or laptop when possible
    • Keep your browser updated
    • Avoid using unsupported or outdated devices
    • Ensure a stable internet connection during live sessions

    Incomplete requests may delay support.

    • Most inquiries receive a response within 1–2 business days
    • High-volume periods (live programs, major events) may take slightly longer

    Common Questions

    Refresh your browser, try another browser, and disable ad blockers or extensions. Clearing cache often helps.

    It usually appears only 5–10 minutes before class starts. Refresh closer to start time.

    Refresh the page, try a different browser, disable VPN/ad blockers, and ensure your internet connection is stable.

    Open the video and use the Transcript option in the player, or download the transcript from below the video when available.
